oogle offers a new type of search experience consistent across
Gdifferent platforms and devices, called Universal Search. To make
the search results page work properly, they recommend rendering your
web pages using a browser that supports Ajax or JavaScript. They’re
currently working on ways to improve the Google Search experience
USING DYNAMIC on browsers without these features, but in the meantime, rendering
your web pages dynamically with Ajax or JavaScript is no longer
RENDERING FOR recommended.
GOOGLE SEARCH Dynamic Rending For Google Search
5 Fact That Google No Longer Recommends Using
IS NO LONGER compared to the traditional rendering of web pages. However, Ajax
1. Dynamic Rendering Takes Longer To Load
Thanks to Ajax technology, page load times are faster than ever
RECOMMENDED takes longer to load. Google Search has a set number of characters
allowed for each search result, and it’s its goal to provide the best
possible search experience while staying within this limit. Ajax requires
more surfaces than traditional rendering, so it’s not recommended for
sites optimized for Google Search.
2. Viewability is Lowered
Ajax can dynamically load elements that are not visible on the
screen, such as content that appears after scrolling. Ajax is an
excellent technology for developing sites where users want to see
more than what’s currently shown on the screen. However, using Ajax
to load content dynamically, viewability may be lowered, and your site
may lose visibility in Google Search results.
3. Google Search Results Show Only Partial Results
Google Search results use Ajax to ensure the fastest possible page
load time for users with JavaScript enabled. You can also see if your
site is optimized for Google Search by looking at the favicon and other
page elements on the page. If you don’t see favicons, a search engine
spider likely missed the feature during indexing, and therefore, your site
isn’t optimized for Google Search.
4. JavaScript Can Be Disabled
By using Ajax, you can disable JavaScript on your site and still be
able to provide an optimal Google Search experience for users who
have JavaScript enabled. The Ajax engine skips over these nonvisible
elements that load after scrolling, so it’s essential to include as much
information as possible on the screen when waiting to see which items
are displayed by Google.
5. You Can Still Provide an AWS-Friendly Search Experience
Google provides a Webmaster tool that allows you to see how
Googlebot crawls your website. To make it crawl faster, provide a
Webmaster-friendly website optimized for Googlebot. The Webmaster
tool will still be able to crawl your site even if you disable JavaScript
and disable some of the CSS or HTML elements that are not visible to
the users.
