Paul Armstrong a little in the mystery known as PAR...
PAR as he’s known on GFY) is always working and
making company heads happy.
In our latest Payout Interview, we decided to delve
PAR for the course PAYOUT - So you’re a Canadian in porn. Have you
ever felt “different” or exceptional because of this?
PAR - Simple answer: No... With everything being
internet-based and alias-based, when I started, Geo-
location didn’t play into things as I didn’t know or care
where everyone was that I was working with.
I was just focused on learning from anyone that was
willing to share their insights.
Over the years the only times I have found location
to come to play is understanding new markets, and
sometimes time zones can lead to some late nights.
PM - Have you ever had the experience of “What? Another
Canadian in this business?!?”
PAR - Not really, there have been a couple times where
I was the one that assumed some people and Companies
were located outside Canada, only to fnd they had an
offce a few blocks away.
PM - Where you’re from, is the industry a problem or a
hush-hush kind of topic?
PAR - From day one I have never hidden or been hush-hush
about what I do, but I also don’t just toss it into conversations
or go out of my way to highlight it.
PM - Have you noticed a difference in attitude between
Canadians and non-Canadians regarding the whole adult-
industry thing?
PAR - Having had the good fortune to have lived and worked
in and out of Canada. In a few countries - due to the religious
