and a whole new Payout Magazine!
So you’ve survived the first decade of the
third millenium and you have made money.
What’re you going to do now?
Make more!
Somebody
recently posted on Facebook that there are
‘only two industry magazines’ left, talking about
AVN and XBiz... Well, ahem.
Now that’s not why we’ve decided to revamp
and re-amp our little magazine and photo-
cull-cum-souvenir-album of the industry’s
tradeshows and events circuit. We wanted to
get a little more grab-eye, and make the money
our publication and website earn in advertising
provide an even better ROI for our advertisers.
And it is pretty, ain’t it?
Another approach we’re taking for the new
thousand years to come is soliciting not only
smart, sassy articles for your poolside reading
pleasure and education, but pieces by people
you know, by name, people in the business,
who’ve made it and made it their way, writing
about & from their gained practical knowledge &
experience and not theory, proven or unproven.
Therefore, hence and thus we have for
you Brad Mitchell’s info-filled piece on the
background and necessity for his company’s
new MojoShield sophisticated server firewall
technology; Patrick The Hun, owner of The
Hun’s Yellow Pages, offering us a glimpse of the
future with a historical perspective that includes
how he was even bigger than Google at one
point; and Eddie from Hot Jobs, who is featured
in an article about (by?) the man who runs the
industry’s biggest boutique recruiting firm and
his measure for success.
We’ve also got interviews with Arynn Sugar
and Natalia Synn, behind-the-screens experts
and webcam seductresses from Studio20 who
give us the gritty on their sex chat success in
this new live cam porn economy, and a suite
feature on the industry’s queen of cams herself,
Little Red Bunny.
There’s more from more and you’ll have to
find out for yourself, otherwise I’d sound like I’m
just name-dropping, so... oh hell, here’s a couple

First, the adult industry’s adult indutry legal
beagle himself, Corey D. Silverstein, offers us a
piece (which “does not constitute legal advice”
of course; lawyers!) summing up the year for
the business from a lawyerly point of view as
only he could deliver, and finally the visionary
and company behind Payout Magazine’s new
look and feel, Joey Gabra himself of New Media
Services, offers us a future-friendly vision of
corporate innovation and responsibility both he,
NMS, and the industry as a whole, and in fact
every one in every business, should strive for.
So this is a happy new year/decade/
millenium and best wishes for all you business
journeymen and women for more success and
happiness than ever in the past, as well as a call
out to you all who feel you haven’t read your
own stories or lessons learned in these pages
- contribute! Write! Send us your article with
your company and by-line, and spread some
personal experience and knowledge as well as
a little free advertising for yourself...
And speaking of free ads, remember that I
still give away free adspace in random draws
every issue as long as you come up to me at a
show and hand me that business card and pose
for some snaps.
I’m tired now - haven’t written this much
since last year lol so with that I’ll sign off and
