LOS ANGELES (Jan. 9, 2025) — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is pleased to return to sunny southern California for the year’s first event — the 2025 XBIZ Show.
One name for online adult entertainment and digital media professionals is synonymous with the industry: “XBIZ.” With a robust user community, massive online news presence, multiple monthly magazines, and annual industry events, XBIZ truly is “The Industry Source.”
Famous as “the biggest industry events series in the world,” the XBIZ Show will take over the global capital of adult entertainment — Hollywood — from January 15-18. Uniting industry influencers and newcomer entrepreneurs from around the globe for boundless business opportunities, the annual XBIZ Show brings together professionals from across the industry, including content producers, performers, web admins, company execs, marketers, developers, service providers, and more.
Among the XBIZ Show’s attractions are symposiums and presentations highlighting the fast-moving adult entertainment industry and panels and workshop sessions featuring top influencers sharing their insights into the latest trends shaping the industry and their predictions for the future.
ASACP’s Executive Director Tim Henning will conduct one of these special sessions to discuss “AV Legislation Updates.” Set for Wed., January 15, from 1:00 to 1:50 p.m., Henning will update attendees on age verification laws and how they impact adult creators and businesses. This presentation will be held on the fifth floor in room 506.
“Rapid changes in age verification requirements and technology are at the forefront of many platform operators’ and owners’ minds as we dive into 2025,” Henning said. “During this session, I hope to clarify any confusion and guide attendees on the best paths forward as they seek to comply with evolving regulations worldwide.”
Henning will also present ASACP’s Service Recognition Award as part of the exclusive XBIZ Honors executive event. This prestigious annual award commends individuals for their significant contributions of time, resources, and energy to the association. It is one tangible way that the association gives back to those who help it thrive.
“As the first major event of the year, the XBIZ Show attracts a broad range of industry stakeholders, including established powerhouses and newer entrants to the market, making it a ‘must attend’ gathering for the association,” Henning said. “Meeting with this mix of participants provides ASACP with a unique opportunity for presenting its message of corporate responsibility and the need to protect children as they live their digital lives.”
“The venue city of Los Angeles is also perfect for meeting with our Advisory Council and Board of Directors, underscoring the event’s ‘business first’ stance,” Henning concluded. “The XBIZ Show provides huge value to the association and the industry.”
The XBIZ Show offers discounted admission and special offers for ASACP supporters who register online, customized for their specific business segments. Additionally, XBIZ will grant complimentary access to Henning.
ASACP’s Exclusive Travel Sponsor, DialXS, generously covers Henning’s airfare and travel expenses, enabling the association to attend this notable event.
